An exhibition opening June 15 at Rice Architecture’s Anderson Hall reveals what’s behind the walls in a typical home, thanks to an award-winning design by visiting critic Liz Gálvez, above. The exhibit, “Of Envelopes and Air,” explains the variety of paths air takes as it enters and leaves buildings and highlights the importance of managing the flow.

Rice hires Jose Cruz Jr. as next baseball coach
Numerous articles and broadcasts feature former Owl Jose Cruz Jr., who has been named the new head baseball coach at Rice. Cruz was inducted into the Rice Athletics Hall of Fame in 2003, and he returned to Rice to complete his degree in sports management in 2013 after more than a decade playing in the major leagues.
