The university's newest Owls enjoyed a Texas barbecue dinner with President Reginald DesRoches, capping off the second day of O-Week on a high note.
DesRoches and his wife, Paula, dined and conversed with the new students in front of Lovett Hall as part of the President’s Welcome Party Aug. 14. Participants were also treated to tunes played by a disc jockey, as coordinated dances broke out in spite of the blistering heat.
