Last week, the Office of the Dean of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies and the Doerr Institute for New Leaders became the first two divisions on campus to go “Owl in for Houston” by reaching 100% participation in this year’s Rice United Way Campaign.
Both groups will receive a free lunch at Cohen House on the date of their choice as a token of appreciation for their contributions.
In addition to providing a free lunch for any division that achieves 100% participation, this year the campaign is recognizing individual donors with a weekly drawing for prizes that will be delivered directly to the donors. Any United Way donation of any amount qualifies for the drawing.
