Beer Bike, one of Rice University’s most beloved traditions, was held for the 66th time April 1.
The event was slightly different from past years, as residential college bike teams competed in two heats instead of one race in an effort to enhance safety. No matter the format, students cheered as raucously as ever as the bikers pedaled expeditiously in hopes of victory.
As always, pre-race water balloon fights, water chugging, vehicle decorating, face painting and many more fun activities were featured.
