Laura Kabiri, an assistant teaching professor of kinesiology, has won the Sam Drogo Technology in the Classroom Award for 2022 from the Human Anatomy and Physiology Society. Kabiri won for her deployment of a virtual cadaver program that lets students study the body inside and out in 360 degrees. Her class was featured in Rice News in 2019. Kabiri will discuss her work at the society’s annual conference in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, May 25-29.
