Rice’s Facilities Engineering and Planning Department hosted its annual horseshoes tournament for university employees May 26. It was the 25th edition of the event, which wasn’t held for two years due to COVID-19. Contestants gathered behind Martel College for the double-elimination tournament, where horseshoe throwers enjoyed food from the grill and donated beverages from Valhalla.
